We’ve done our best to put together a list of all the summer camps in London

Arcane Code Camp
Comments: 8 week sessions run by a very successful London tech company
Location: 304 Talbot Street, London (at York St.)
Dates: TBA Sessions run throughout the year

Subjects: teaching fundamental skills in HTML, CSS & JavaScript
 
Art Venture Studio Summer Camps
Comments: some age limits on sessions
Location: Aldersbrook Dr. in Northridge
Dates: July and middle two weeks of August
Cost: $195 half days and $351 full days

Batter’s Box Baseball

Bit By Bit Computer Day Camp
Comments: This camp has a great reputation. Registration fills up very fast.
Location: Middlesex College at Western
Dates: all summer except last week of August (last year)

Subjects: Coding/Programming, Graphic Design, Minecraft, etc. plus Swimming
 
Boler Mountain Biking
Comments: “designed for those with lots of energy” 519-657-8822

Boys & Girls Club of London Summer Day Camps
Location: Boys and Girls Club on Horton at Richmond St
Dates: all summer
Cost: $190 for members $200 for non members
Ages: 4 to 13 years
Subjects: Sports, Art, Science and even Fishing
 
Brescia Girls Lead
Comments: Unique leadership camp for girls, that builds empowerment
Location: Brescia College – Sarnia and Western Roads
Dates: Select 2 weeks blocks over the summer
Cost: $485 for 2 week sessions including lunch
Ages: entering grade 3 to grade 7
Subjects: Self Discovery, connecting with others and building community
 
Brick Works Academy (Lego)
Location: 890 Sarnia Rd, London, ON
Dates: 8 one week classes starting July 3rd
Cost: $232 to $365/week

Brownlee Summer Volleyball camp
Comments: Registration fills fast
Location: Oakridge Secondary School
Dates: end of July and mid August (9am to 3:30pm)
Cost: $210 per week
Ages: 9 - 17
Subjects: Volleyball

Budding Artists
Comments: Limit 10 children per half day and 16 for full day.
Location: St. James Westminster Church in Wortley Village, 115 Askin Street
Dates: Grades 6 to 8: July 16-20 and July 23-27; Grades 9 to 12: August 13-17 and August 20-24
            Grades JK-5: July 16-20, July 23-27, August 13-17 or August 20-24 
Cost: 1/2 day $150 and Full Day $225. Includes supplies and camp t-shirt. Sign up before April 1, 2018 and save $25/week.
Subjects: Art Explorers – “Crafting the Masters” & “Around the World”, and Emerging Artists 

Camp Celtic 
Comments: We’ve seen these campers having a great time at our favourite beach.
Location:  248 Stokes Bay Road, Lion’s Head, ON (3.5 hours north of London)
Dates: all summer
Cost: from $185 for 3 days to $845 for a week (leadership and camping trips are more)
Ages: 6 to 16
Subjects: Sports, Windsurfing, Kayaking, Sailing, Archery, Ropes, Wilderness survival, Arts

Camp Cherith
Location: North of Walkerton, ON (2 hours north of London)
Dates: July 1 to Aug 18
Cost: $275 for 3 days to $654 for a week of equestrian camp
Ages: 6-17
Subjects: Adventure, Equestrian, Leadership, Canoe Trip and Mini camps

Camp OK Original Kids Summer Theatre Camp
Comments: This is a popular camp that fills up fast and registration opens early January!
Location: Huron University College, Western Road
Dates: July 2 to Aug 24
Cost: $495 for two weeks includes performance and t-shirt
Ages: Kidlets for 5 to 7 and Camp OK for 8 and up. Leadership camp for grade 9+
Subjects: Theatre and Leadership

Camp Kirk
Comments: Large staff to camper ratio (29/36). Experienced providing special accommodations for children with special needs
Location: Kirkfield, ON - 3 hours northeast of London
Dates: June 29 to Aug 25th
Cost: $2860 for two full weeks
Ages: 6 to 13 years with Teen Program for 14 to 16 year olds
Subjects: building resiliency and boosting confidence
 
Camp Queen Elizabeth (YMCA)
Comments: This camp is beloved by many
Location: Georgian Bay Islands National Park, near Honey Harbour
Dates: July 1 to Aug 25 (with a family weekend at the end of August)
Cost: $955 for one week
Ages: 6 to 14 depending on session
Subjects: Swimming, sailing, crafts, canoe trips, etc

Camp Henry  (YMCA)
Comments: Brand new to the YMCA family of overnight camps
Location: Point Pelee National Park!
Dates: July 2 to Aug 24 (with a family weekend at the end of August)
Cost: $635 per full week
Ages: 5 to 15 depending on session
Subjects: Campfires, archery, canoeing, hiking and more

Camp Vincent
Comments: Overnight camps with unique themed weeks and short stay options
Location: Bothwell, ON – one hour southwest of London
Dates: July 4 to Aug 25
Cost: $270 to $370 depending on ability to pay
Ages: 6 to 15
Subjects: Sports, Art, Nature
 
Centrefield Sports
Comments: We can’t say enough about the amazing staff that know their stuff!
Location: Byron Optimist Sports Complex, 651 Boler Rd (Rain days are held at Centrefield, 25 Midpark Cres)
Dates: July 9 - July 13, July 30 - August 3 and August 13 - August 17
Cost: Full week of half days: $190 and Full week of full days: $285
Ages: 7 to 14

Children’s Museum Summer Camps
Comments: One of the few camps that offers a daily option
Location: Children’s Museum on Wharncliffe Rd
Dates: June 25 to Aug 31!
Cost: $210 for non-members and $190 for members per five day week
Ages: 4 to 12
Subjects: STEAM themed weeks and Tween Camp
 
Chess Camp
Comments: We’ve really enjoyed Lego camp run by the same organization.
Location: Waldorf School, off Western Rd near Oxford
Dates: July 9 – 13, 2018
Cost: $210 per week
Ages: 5 and up
Subjects: Chess, Science, Drumming, Dance, Sports
 
Circle R Ranch
Comments: Both Day and Overnight camp. Home-cooked lunch, snacks and busing included
Location: Delware, ON
Dates: July 2 to Aug 31
Cost: $399 per week for day camp. $608 for 5 days overnight and up
Ages: Completed SK to completed grade 8 plus leadership for older children
Subjects: Horseback riding plus sports, outdoors, etc.
 
City of London Recreation – day camps and free playgrounds
Location: throughout the city at most schools and city recreation centres
Dates: all summer
Cost: Playgrounds at some schools are free. Fees vary depending on type of camp but are economical
Ages: 5 to 12 (depending on location) with Teen programs for 12 and up
Subjects: Sports, Games, Art

Camp Clap (Clap with Claire)

CTC Obstacles
Comments: Our kids really enjoy being a Ninja here. Had a great PD day camp
Location: 38 Adelaide St. N (in an old warehouse building which adds to the ninja feel)
Dates: July 10 to Aug 25
Cost: $195 for one week, $45 per day
Ages: 6 to 14
Subjects: Fitness, Teamwork, games

Dance Steps Summer Camps
Comments: The only camp we could find that offer summer classes for very young children
Location: 275 Colborne Street (Unit C)
Dates: 2.5 years and up!
Cost: $220 for a full day and $150 for half day (pricing varies by age of campers)
Ages: ages 2.5 and up
Subjects: Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop
 
Dance Extreme
Comments: All levels welcome with lots of dance themed camps to choose from
Location: 275 Colborne Street (Unit C)
Dates: July 2 to Aug 31 with themed weeks
Cost: starting at $185 for new students
Ages: ages 4 and up – more intensive camps for older experienced dancers
Subjects: Musical Theatre, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop

Dance London
Comments: All levels welcome with lots of dance themed camps to choose from

East Park Summer Camps
Comments: East Park has tons of fun activities including water slides, mini golf and more

Cost: $205 and up for a full day
Ages: 5 to 16 depending on the camp
Subjects: Golf, Rock climbing, Junior fun

Fanshawe Yacht Club Sailing School
Comments: certified Learn to Sail courses, bus is $50 extra
Location: Fanshawe Yacht Club on Fanshawe Lake
Dates: July 2 to August 24
Cost: $420 per week
Ages: 9 to 18

Flagswipe Paintball Summer Camp
Comments: 2018 schedule is coming, visit website for more details.
Location: 3998 Gladstone Dr. Mossley, Ontario
Subjects: Paintball, outdoors

Forest Cliff Camps
Comments: Christian day and overnight camps, with 3 day option for younger children
Location: Day camp at a variety of churches in London, overnight camp near Forest ON
Dates: younger ages to Aug 10 and older camps later in August
Cost: starting at $189 for full week day camp and $529 for full week overnight
Ages: day camp completed SK, overnight camp completed grade 1
Subjects: Arts, Sports, Rocketry, Horseback, High ropes and much more

Great Big Theatre Company Acting Camps
Location: First St. Andrew’s Church 350 Queens Ave and Church of St. Jude 1537 Adelaide St. N
Dates: July 16 to Aug 24
Cost: $235 for younger and $260 for older (less if you register early)
Ages: 3 to 5 years (with half day options) and 6 to 9 years
Subjects: Theatre
 
Junior Golf School – Highland Golf
Location: 1922 Highland Heights, off Commissioners Rd.
Dates: July 3rd to 6th
Cost: approximately $200 which includes meals
Ages: 8 to 13
Subjects: Golf fundamentals
 
John Hatch Tennis Camp
Comments: We’ve heard from friends that this is a great camp! Half days available
Location: John Hatch tennis Centre on Wonderland Road S. and University Tennis Centre
Dates: varies based on camp – most of the summer
Cost: $250 per full week
Ages: 5 to 18 depending on sport selected
Subjects: Tennis, Basketball and multi-sport
 
Kidbotix
Comments: Ratio is 1 to 8 max. Our Lego fanatic loved their Saturday program!
Location: Wesley Knox Church in Wortley

Kids On Deck Summer Baseball Camps
Comments:  2018 info yet to be released. The only week long overnight baseball camp in Canada. Co-ed. Day camp also available.
Location: Baseball Hall of fame in St. Mary’s
Dates: in the past roughly July 6 to July 12 (2018 dates TBA)
Cost: $695

Learning Disabilities Association of London Region
Comments:  2018 info yet to be released.

Dates: Middle two weeks in July in the past (2018 dates TBA)

Subjects: Tech Discovery with assistive technology, recreation, community activities, etc.
 
Lego Camp
Comments: Every year our Lego obsessed kid says he wants to go back!
Location: London Waldorf School
Dates: July 23 – 27, 2018 (dates change each year)

London Citadel Blastin’ Brass
Comments: Learn a brass instrument in one week!
Location: 555 Springbank Dr. London Citadel Salvation Army church
Dates: VBS July 9-13/ Blastin' Brass July 16-20/ Sports July 23-27/ Blastin' Brass July 30 to Aug 10
Cost: $75 for VBS; $125 for one week and $250 for two weeks

London Waldorf School
Comments: Nature inspired full and half day camps
Location: 7 Beaufort Street, near Oxford and Western Roads
Dates: July 4 to Aug 18 with exception of July 10 and 24 weeks

Comments: Run by the Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration (CPSX), a leading organization for planetary science and exploration research and training in Canada.

Sports Western Summer Camps
Comments: So many different themed camps and you can combine two themes in a day

Comments: Camper to counsellor ratio is 1:6 for individualized programming

Western Engineering Summer Leadership Programs
Comments: We’ve heard lots of great reviews about this camp and it fills fast.

G.R.E.A.T. (Girls Recognizing Engineering and Technology) is a camping weekend retreat in August for girls entering Grades 4-8.

Comments: one week of usual church camp (now called Adventure Camp!) and 4 weeks of Creative Arts Camps

Comments: Our son really enjoyed the Spencer Lodge camp and many YMCA PD camps

Cost: $235 per week for non-members
Ages: 4 to 12
